The moon is very beautiful and it is with the earth from the beginning of the earth till today. Keeping the moon in view, we made calendars. Many stories were also made about the moon. Seeing this, the wolves make noises and it gives us cool light in the darkness of night. Due to this, the earth remains in a balanced state in our solar system. If there was no moon, we would not have been alive today. The moon is close to our earth according to the rest of the bodies in our solar system, but there are many such things related to the moon, which we still do not know.
Story behind Apollo 11 Mission
We did not know anything about the moon before, but Apollo XI was the first mission, due to which humans first stepped on the moon and many such theories were derived by which try to explore the moon's mysteries. When the astronauts of NASA's Apollo mission were returning from the moon to the Earth, they launched a satellite to the moon to hit the moon intentionally. When the satellite struck the moon then it sounded like a bell and the surface of the moon vibrated for many days. It was just like the satellite striking a hollow object just like a bell. If the moon was a solid body then it would never happen. It was a very strange thing for the scientists. This thing states that the moon is not a solid object. Scientists thought they predicted everything about the moon was wrong.

There are many basic things about the moon that we don't know. For example no one upto now has been able to explain how the moon was formed. Some scientists says when a big object hit our earth than our moon is formed. But this theory is not very true because the composition of earth and moon is very different. The surface of the moon and its inside part is very different from earth. While some scientists says, a rounded object was passing from near the earth in space and then the earth drag it towards her and after that that object is rotating around the earth.
But the size of the moon is four times smaller than the size of earth and practically according to the size of the moon it is impossible. It is not possible for earth to drag a much bigger object. It is far bigger than any type of asteroid. Scientifically earth can drag any asteroid but not the moon.
Some scientists think that the moon is not a natural satellite. It is formed by some extraterrestrial intelligent civilization. The gravity of the moon works in a very different manner. To understand the gravity of the moon scientists did so many missions but they didn't find the real truth behind it.

The size of our moon is also vey mysterious. Moon of any planet is smaller this is true but our moon should be very smaller according to the size of our earth. Moon is 1/4th the size of the earth. But if you compare it with the other moons of any planet then it is much bigger. For example Jupiter has many moons but the biggest moon of Jupiter is 1/88 times of its size. While the moon of earth is bigger then other moon's planet. Planets near earth like mercury and venus doesn't have their moons. The size of our moon should be very small or it should not be their.
Robin Brett, scientist of nasa said it is easy to explain if their is no moon of earth rather than to explain having a moon of the earth.
The perfect circular orbit of the moon is also very difficult for the other moon of this planet. Moon rotates around the Earth in a perfect circular orbit. Everybody in this universe orbited a body but they did not orbit in a perfect circular path that is elliptical. But the orbit of our moon is a perfect circular orbit.

Our moon controls our earth a lot. It stabilizes the rotation of the earth. The light of the sun directly falls on the equator. If there is no moon then the light of the sun will hit on pole (North Pole) directly. If that would happen then the weather was completely different. There is no other planet in our solar system whose moon controls his planet upto so much limit. But our moon does.
